This hands-on, one-day training, led by Betsy Zeger in association with Community Boards Mediation Center, is designed for those who have completed Conflict Coaching 101 and have been trained in Active Listening. It offers additional techniques and strategies to further enhance your conflict coaching skills.
Participants will learn how to:
- Help clients create actionable, realistic plans and support them in following through.
- Use role plays to practice effective communication with clients.
- Utilize empathy maps to broaden clients’ perspectives and clarify their options.
- Work with clients who feel stuck and see no good options.
- End sessions with impactful challenges that move clients forward.
- Provide additional support for remote conflict coaching via phone or Zoom.
